For a four day week, it certainly has felt like the longest week of my life. It was so hard to come back from Easter break knowing we will not have even one day off until the end of the semester! I should have done so much homework over break, and I honestly did not do anything but finish a book! So, this week has been a bit stressful, but it is almost the weekend...so I will be able to breathe easy soon.
I had to write two papers (rough drafts) and create a presentation last night...I was up pretty late. Tonight, I have class until 9:30, and I have to write a mid-term essay and watch a video and write an essay about either class, gender, or race concerning the video. So, tonight will be a late night as well. One thing people quickly learn is that even if you do not procrastinate, late nights are a pretty common thing for college students. It is a tough thing to adjust to when coming to college. The course load increases, and I just feel like I have less and less time to complete everything. But, it is possible!
On Tuesday night, our floor (Bede 4) had a free pizza party. All of the floors in the girls' and guys' dorms were competing for it. It was to raise money for Darfur. It was a penny war as well as other activities, and our floor won! It was a great way to get people involved as well as do something for a good cause.
