Research Project

Since I am home on Spring Break, I thought I would actually get a break...boy, was I wrong. I have already explained that I am doing the rest of my student practicum right now, but I also have to do a massive amount of work on my research project. I am doing my research project on the coming home process and coping process of WWII Veterans...and I might compare them to Vietnam Veterans. I have not decided if I will do a comparison of the two, or if I will just do an analysis of WWII Veterans.

Anyways, tomorrow I'm leaving for Elgin, NE to interview Herman Starman, Kelly Starman's (Mount Marty College student) great uncle who is a WWII Veteran. I will interview him on Thursday actually, but it is quite a long commute from my home. So, I have a jam-packed week. It is nice to not have to totally worry about my classes right now, though.

I am missing all of my friends from school. As any college student would claim, college friends are some of the closest people in your life. We live together, go to school together, and hang out on the weekends together; we do everything together! So, to go from being with them 24/7...to not seeing them at all...that is quite the change! Anyways, I need to get back to these lesson plans for tomorrow.
